Bright Books Free School Library Audit - F.A.Q.
How Free is Free?
Not much of real value is free these days, but here is a service that fits the description perfectly. Free, because our Audit implies no obligation - we simply hope that it will convince you to use our services when you need them. Real value, because a comprehensive school library Audit, such as we provide, will save you an inordinate amount of time - that most precious of resources.
What Does a Bright Books Audit Consist of?
Everything you would expect and wish for: from a review of stock levels and condition, fiction and non-fiction, gaps, age-range, subject balance and demographics, to IT management systems and fixtures/fittings.
What Will I Actually Receive from Bright Books?
Your free School Library Audit will take the form of an eight page report, detailing the status-quo of your library and a plan for upgrading it over a phased period, according to your requirements - say 5 years, for example. Crucially it will include a detailed costing, if you should wish to implement the plan, wholly or in part, over that period.
What is Bright Books Renowned for?
For two decades, Bright Books has been recognised as one of the UK's leading mainstream specialists in the supply of definitive and leading edge books to schools, and the management and upgrade of school libraries. The company offers and enormous well of expertise and excellence in the provision, not only of high quality stock - more than 50,000 fiction, non-fiction and curriculum titles - but also book servicing and cataloguing. That is, we provide a shelf ready service embracing paperback lamination, colour coding, Dewey classification, and electronic data transfer*. To date we have also successfully implemented the complete overhaul of several hundred school libraries.
* - Supported library management systems.
